Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and Accessibility

DEI Trainings & Workshops
The Progressive Education Team facilitates professional development sessions with corporate executives and other corporate staff members focused on DEI topics such as:
- Defining diversity and inclusion (gender, race, socioeconomic status, language, sexual orientation, experience, etc.).
- Navigating microaggressions in the workplace.
- Communication strategies when discussing sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and cultural heritage. and
- Anti-racist principals and strategies.
- Culturally Responsive Pedagogy
- Implicit Bias/ Unconscious Bias
DEI Task Force
The Progressive Education Team also facilitates the creation of corporate diversity equity & inclusion (Dei) task forces. The purpose of a Dei task force is to leverage a corporation’s work force to cultivate and promote strategies and best practices within the realms of racial, social, sexual, and gender diversity. By leveraging a corporations’ own team, a DEI task force serves as an opportunity to promote diverse leadership and offer a space for non-taskforce members a place to provide suggestions that promote an inclusive work environment. The ultimate goal of a Dei task force is to provide for the betterment of the corporate culture so that every employee is provided with an inclusive experience.
Community Engagement and Outreach
PECG provides community outreach services for not-for-profit and for-profit corporations looking to establish relationships with their local community and/or expand into new markets in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area.
